Quiz and Pizza Night with the EEECS International Student Society

On 7 October 2026, I joined the Quiz and Pizza Night organised by the EEECS International Student Society at Queen's University Belfast. The programme took place from 5:00–7:00 PM in the Allstate Software Studio on the second floor of the Computer Science Building (CSB), bringing international students together for quizzes, team games, and free pizza.

Activity highlights

  • Completed four rounds of quizzes covering different topics and challenges.
  • Took part in both individual challenges and team-based games.
  • Competed as a member of Titanic Crew, which finished fourth in the team competition.
  • Connected with fellow international students in a relaxed social setting with free pizza.

Activity experience

The event was an enjoyable opportunity to meet other international students, collaborate under time pressure, and contribute ideas as part of Titanic Crew. The mix of individual and team rounds kept the programme engaging while encouraging communication and friendly competition.

Next activity

I look forward to taking part in more EEECS International Student Society activities and contributing to events that help international students connect across the school.
